Michael Shlansky
Attorney
Mike was raised in Weston, Connecticut and attended the Weston public schools. He received his law degree, as well as his Master’s Degree in Admiralty & Maritime Law, from Tulane Law School. Thereafter, he practiced law in New Orleans specializing in maritime law, commercial litigation and insurance defense. Michael and his wife returned to Weston in 2017 where he joined a personal injury litigation firm in Stamford, Connecticut.
In the Fall of 2019, he began working with Sherwood & Garlick, P.C., a general practice firm with its roots deeply embedded in Fairfield County. Having previously clerked at Sherwood & Garlick, Michael wished to continue to provide the services of a general law practice with an emphasis on admiralty and maritime law, insurance recovery, real estate and estate planning.
Michael enjoys being an active member of the Weston community, which includes serving as a Captain in the Weston Volunteer Fire Department.
